Full-time Kitchen Assistant needed in our small retirement community. Regular shifts would be Saturday through Tuesday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. May be able to work overtime as needed, but not mandatory. Applicants for this position must have excellent customer service skills, a cheerful attitude, patience, and have a desire to work with older adults. The ability to follow instructions, work as a team, and be a self-starter are crucial in this position.
Kitchen Assistants follow instructions from our Cooks in helping prepare meals. Kitchen Assistants will help Cooks prepare salads, clean the kitchen and dining area, serve residents food and drinks, mop/ sweep, take out trash, wash dishes, etc. The Cook and Kitchen Assistant work as a team to help ensure our residents get high quality food and service.
