(Must be within 50 miles of an Anthem office)Responsible

for directing and managing the development of new network products and programs,

and modifications and optimizations of existing products and programs for

Anthem’s Commercial business that supports 14 commercial markets and multiple

business segments (Individual, Small Group, Large Group and National Accounts).Responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a

product strategy and portfolios that drive innovation, better quality, health

outcomes, member acquisition and experiences.Primary duties toinclude, but are not limited to:

Develops, implements,and manages innovative, competitive and effective programs to support Anthem’scommercial products, include the Blue Association’s High Performance Networkproducts for Anthem locally and nationally.

Stays informed andanalyses impacts of competitive and market forces to our product strategies.

Leads ideationsessions, and new network product initiation and execution efforts, developsprogram and product models and playbooks, and drafts implementation plans.

Partners with businessowners and leads project teams to achieve superior execution of product andprogram strategy in the marketplace.

Tracks product andprogram performance by benefit design, market segment and geography, and by portfolios.Suggest improvement changes accordingly.

Supports thedevelopment of short and long-term strategic product plans in support ofbusiness objectives.

Identifies systemneeds to support short and long-term product strategy.

Lead project teams inthe implementation of regional and company-wide initiatives including highperformance network products, innovative digital solutions, legislativechanges, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policyinitiatives, new value add benefits, etc.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-8 years of product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Knowledge of Health Care Commercial Product and Programs required.

Experience in Implementations, project management, and account management preferred.

Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product and Program Development to include: ideation, model and playbook design, implementation, and management.

Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills preferred

Ability to work independently and also lead project teams

Partner effectively with cross-function areas, collaborate for results

MBA preferred.
