DescriptionSeeking a long-term temporary position? Accountemps is doing the hiring process for a part time, Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk for a rapidly-expanding company. Processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a superb role and you will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area and will be a long-term temporary position.What you get to do every single day
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Implement full-cycle A/P
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Carry out additional projects as required
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Requirements
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Microsoft Excel experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Customer invoices experience highly desired
Foundational knowledge in Enter Vendor Invoices
Adeptness in Communication Skills
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
