Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
Analyzing highly complex business requirements, designs and write technical specifications.
Collaborating across teams, including global teams, to create high quality solution designs.
Designing, developing, testing, and deploying data integration initiatives.
Performing Design & Code reviews and process optimization.
Create Code Check Lists, DBA Check lists, Installation game plans, and other required process documentation for production deployments.
Migrating the code through various environments and verify the migration.
Communicate to broad and diverse audience with differing needs.
Analyzing production issues and defects to determine root cause and resolution.
Providing required support throughout the project development life cycle and post deployment activities.
Provide training, guidance, and mentor less experienced team members regardless of their geographic locations – Work effectively in virtual environment.
Participate in developer on-call rotation as needed.

5+ years of application development and implementation experience
5+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
Knowledge and understanding of data warehouse or data mart environment development and enhancement
Knowledge and understanding of technical design: detail design documents
3+ years of Teradata experience
3+ years of data modeling experience
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
