As we continue to grow, new opportunities are becoming available. Wright Outdoor Solutions is currently seeking an Exterior Maintenance Crew Member to join our team in West Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities:
Conduct seasonal maintenance projects including spring and fall cleanup, personal gardening, commercial care, exterior maintenance, seasonal color and containers
Primarily, perform personal gardening and exterior maintenance, including weeding, watering, pruning, planting, transplanting or relocating, and spraying chemicals
Perform tasks as needed in all service areas of Wright Outdoor Solutions
Follow safety and technical standards
Perform equipment maintenance
Work flexible hours in all weather conditions to accommodate the seasonality of the industry
Uphold the values of Wright Outdoor Solutions, which include safety, integrity, quality, respect, teamwork, innovation, and family
Requirements:
Iowa commercial pesticide applicator certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Gardening and landscape maintenance experience a plus
General horticulture knowledge
Ability to read an complete daily paperwork
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid Iowa driver’s license and a good driving record
We are willing to train motivated individuals
