Job: 1-time service repair
Need Computer Repair Technician to service/ repair computer at a home in Remsen (50-mins / 35 miles NE from downtown Sioux City proper). So this is a house-call.
We are a remote computer repair service. However our client's computer issues cannot be repaired remotely, and they are in no position to fix the issue themselves.
This is should be a simple repair job in that the customer needs (Desktop PC) Windows 10 installed, as well as attach a peripheral device.
Despite the simplicity of this engagement, we need a Technician who has a solid understanding Window's operating environment, and possess required tools to do the job satisfactorily. We do 100's of jobs per month, and would happily rehire tech pros who we trust to do solid work.
You should know, we can also assist you remotely (on site) if you are having issues repairing system. We are very good at what we do, however a technician physically needs to be on site.

Regardless of the difficulty of the job, we would first need to verify or validate your technical capabilities and competency and conduct standard due diligence (ID, contact details, brief bio) to ensure the safety and security of our client. Details above would be provided after we have spoken yep, real voice conversation.
Then, We would need to make sure your fee is reasonable. Remember, you are essentially booting up a PC. We've looked at this PC remotely in the past - so we are aware of its OS and firmware. We are willing to negotiate a reasonable fee, since by the mere fact we are out-sourcing this job, means we really want to resolve this matter. So tell us what your flat-fee would be and let's see if we can get to a figure we both can live with. Our decision will be on reliability (i.e. trust), capability, availability, and affordability - - in that order.
Regarding payment. Given the more remote location (of Remsen) we will pay a higher fee than usual. Perhaps double your rate + gas. Upon confirmation from client that computer is working, you would be paid via Zelle (bank to bank), PayPal or Venmo. You cannot charge or request payment from the client. This is an ironclad arrangement since our goal is to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
