Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $12.25-$12.75 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 3:00pm-11:00pm; 11:00pm-7:00am
This is a great temp to hire position that does everything warehouse! This company is looking for someone who would be responsible for picking parts that need to be put into their proper containers or racks prior to being sent to the production line and much more. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate all material handling equipment in a safe & efficient manner.
- Comply with PPE requirements.
- Pick parts to fulfill kitting orders and place parts in proper containers.
- Build all kits with goal of 100% accuracy.
- Place completed kit in outbound staging area.
- Maintain inventory integrity through proper use of scan gun technology.
- Work toward continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit throughout shift.
- Must be able to use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach materials.
- Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch up to or under 1/3rd of scheduled shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs up to 2/3rds of the scheduled shift.
- SAP software/RF scanner experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office product knowledge preferred.
- Previous warehousing experience preferred.
