IowaApplyDescriptionWe have an opportunity for a full time evening Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily care to children according to their care plan and clinical practice leaving them looking their best. You will work as part of a team to assist in great life activities, ensuring that observed changes in a child’s demeanor and condition are reported to their nurse.When You'll Work

2:00pm - 10:00pm

every 3rd Saturday

What You'll Do

Within their scope of practice, meet the daily care needs of children in their care according to the child’s care plan, family preference and established clinical practice.

Responsible for ensuring children are ready on time for their scheduled activities.

Responsible for providing care gently, respectfully, honoring each child's privacy.

Responsible for ensuring children look their very best: clean, well groomed, coordinated clothing in good repair.

Report all observed changes in a child’s demeanor and condition to the assigned nurse or supervisor.

Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with children, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met. Communication style establishes and maintains positive relationships.

Responsible for staying current with all unit and ChildServe specific information.

Provide daily care training to children, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child’s care delivery

Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.

What You'll Need

High School Diploma

Certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
