One permanent full time position available
Full salary range: $42,993.60 - $55,307.20
Regular Shift Hours: Monday Friday, 12:00pm 8:00pm
May include rotating shifts and days off,
including weekends and holidays due to 24/7 operation schedule
Job summary:
Under general direction, assists the public and department personnel with parking enforcement, traffic direction, animal services, and non emergency services; assists with Station Master duties.
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months experience in a customer service field required. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillator, first aid certification within one year of hire. National Crime Information Center Certification within one year of hire. Child safety seat technician certification within one year of hire. Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred qualifications:
One to two years of additional training beyond high school in law enforcement and/or emergency communications dispatch preferred.
