Goodwill of the Heartland - Iowa City Center, seeks a full time Occupational Skills Trainer to provide on-site instruction, training, supervision, and support for perÂsons with barriers to independence who are participating in the Occupational Skills Training Programs. Additional duties will include developing and maintaining contacts with employers and referral agencies, identifying and creating accommodations for program participants, and eliciting feedback from employers on the effectiveness of training programs.
Two years experience in training and/or rehabilitation required. Post-secondary education may be substituted for one year experience. Candidate must have a valid Iowa drivers license and be able to pass child/dependent adult abuse and criminal history background checks. Starting pay range is $16.13 - $17.88 hour plus excellent benefits. Schedule will be Monday-Friday. Times are very dependent upon the type of training taking place.
