Job Summary:
Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team! This person will be responsible for maintaining facility lighting, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, troubleshooting VFD and process controllers, calibrating and maintaining plant instrumentation, as well as recommending solutions to plant instrumentation and electrical problems.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot variable frequency drives, process controllers, HMI's, process instrumentation, and electrical problems
Assist in the development and installation of new electrical/process control systems
Perform calibrations and inspections of process control/electrical equipment with written documentation
Perform all electrical maintenance in compliance with AGP prescribed guidelines and procedures
Work with AGP management in the development of plant projects and upgrades
Assist in maintaining past, current and future electrical systems prints
Assist with various projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Must have a fundamental understanding of electricity (AC & DC)
Must have a fundamental understanding of electrical wiring
Must have a basic understanding of motor controls
Must be safety conscientious
Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
Skilled in written and oral communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical blue prints.
Skilled in planning and organizing.
Knowledge of industrial electrical and motor control systems
Knowledge of proper instrumentation installation, repair, and calibration procedures
Working knowledge of PLC programming.
A Degree in Electrical Technology or similar.
