Design & Technical Services, a division of Volt, is looking for an Installation Instruction Author to work as a contingent on-site with our customer John Deere located in Dubuque, Iowa.This position created detailed quality field kit and field solution installation instructions utilized by our customers dealership technicians. This role will utilize various information systems, engineering teams, software, physical machine builds, and existing instructions to author accurate instructions. Requirements:A candidate that is mechanically inclined with good computer skills will be most successful in this position.Thorough machine knowledge is not necessary to be considered, will train hired applicants on machine/system knowledge.A successful candidate enjoys working with mechanical systems and has some experience working on vehicles, small engine equipment, or mechanical equipment of any kind.Bachelor or Associates degree preferred.
