Recruiting SUPPORT STAFF for $11.50-$13.00/hr
FULL TIME, 40 HOURS PER WEEK STAFF NEEDED IMMEDIATELY
ON CALL/PART TIME POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE
Recruiting support staff for a community member to collectively fill 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The resident is an avid Harry Potter fan and is hoping caregivers have that interest as well, yet it is not necessary for hire.
The resident is open minded and values the differences amongst people. They are looking for caregivers that will share a similar view of respect, value and dignity for others.
The resident utilizes a power wheelchair for their mobility but does not require assistance with any personal cares or transfers. The wheelchair does fold up for easy transport and travel.
Tasks:
Provide general supervision/companionship
Meal prep and cooking (assistance with each meal)
Light Housekeeping/chores (laundry, dishes, vacuuming/sweeping, dusting)
Assisting to get to appointments
Assist with shopping (weekly or biweekly)
Specific requirements:
If a tobacco user, no smoking in or near the building due to complications it causes to their health
No use of harsh chemicals such as for cleaning or strong perfumes due to complications it causes their health (individual will provide appropriate cleaning supplies)
Knowledge in or willingness to obtain knowledge of trauma informed care (individual can provide resources to provide education)
