ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER
WAGE: $15-$17/HOUR
CONTRACT TO HIRE

Position Summary :
A highly respected Dubuque company seeks a drafter who can coordinate, plan and create drawings which facilitate the maximization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence, safety program, manufacturing, quality and economic goals.
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 1st shift
Wage: $15-17/ hour
Essential Functions:
- Prepares timely customer drawings and shop production tickets utilizing state-of-the-art CAD equipment.
- Maintains and establishes production and quality control standards, as well as maintains cost controls and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered; coordinates information with their customers.
- Helps support for the plant safety program.
- Maintain a neat, clean and well organized work area.
- Carry out company policy and procedures in all applicable phases of this position.
- Engage in other related activities and special projects as may be required.
-Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, certificate of competency or one year experience in Architectural Drafting, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong use of CAD equipment and software plus analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
