Answer Payroll questions from Employees
Preparing new employee files
Daily Time Sheet Review
Compile reports and spreadsheets relating to Payroll
Processing payroll
Maintain current HR files/databases
Safety Manager Duties
Oversee weekly safety “Toolbox Talk” meetings with foremen
Oversee specific safety training opportunities for foremen
Address safety concerns that may arise on jobsites
Plan safety focused segments for annual meetings
Required Skills
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, and to communicate with employees and members of the management team
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
Must possess strong interpersonal skills
Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
Preferred Skills
Spanish Speaking
Familiar with Excel, Quickbooks
Accounting background
Familiar with construction
Additional Information
Our company has a small office staff while most of our employees are in the field. This position is ideal for those who are willing to grow with the company. During the summer months, this positions work could exceed 40 hours while the winter is our slower time. We are flexible with the schedule for this position, as long as the work gets done.
