Part-time dental assistant with front office experience. This position is approximately 32 hours a week - Monday to Thursday with some Fridays possible Applicant must be certified and have at least 5 years experience. Should be comfortable working with children and have great chair-side manner.
The applicant needs to be skilled in assisting with surgical tooth impactions and periodontal procedures A registered Iowa Dental assistant with radiograph certification.
Responsibilities will include instrument set up and cleaning, sterilization, accurate x-rays, accurate charting, assisting the doctor, general equipment maintenance and housekeeping. Will learn front desk procedures and handle patient check-in, scheduling, filing and other duties.
