We are actively seeking a Full-Time Chef that enjoys a fast paced work environment.
This chef will monitor the kitchen and oversee each station chef or line cook to make sure recipes are prepared correctly and in accordance with food safety and sanitation regulations. The chef directly oversees food production.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Creating schedules for kitchen staff to ensure optimum resource management and speed of service, Training new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu. Ensure all staff members adhere to culinary standards and regulations. Responding to customer inquiries and concerns personally. Designing new menu choices based on seasonal ingredients and customer demand. Tracking, recording and replenishing inventory as needed. Cross-training kitchen staff on multiple stations. Assisting General Manager with pricing menu items
