Overview:
TelCom Construction is looking for motivated employees to join our team! Were looking for Underground Utility Construction Directional Drill Operators who are ready to roll up their sleeves and who want to make a difference by building tomorrows Utility Infrastructure. We are currently hiring for full-time Construction Directional Drill Operators to work out of our Marion, IA location.
Responsibilities:
Operating direction drill as well as potentially other equipment related to Fiber Optic construction
Navigate/steer directional drill using locating devices
Site restoration
Cable handling
Locating utilities
Digging trenches
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a construction environment preferred
Must be able to meet physical requirement of the position
A satisfactory driving record. CDL license is a plus
Travel throughout Iowa during the work week is required
