Project Manager (Cedar Rapids, IA)Position SummaryPosition SummaryThe position of Project Manager is responsible for working with team members and requestors to prioritize and guide projects to completion within the Solution Delivery Team. This includes resource planning, managing project risk, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will oversee quality throughout the project. Essential Functions
Develop a deep knowledge of supported business areas
Demonstrated ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple projects with conflicting objectives
Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risk and dependencies throughout the project
Ensure business needs are understood and technical implications are conveyed in a manner that business users can understand and technical team can develop from
Acts as a primary point of contact to maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with all stakeholders
Plan and measure project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Ensure required personnel obtained for all projects, including business resources
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Consistently delivers high quality service
Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of projects
Participate in project planning, stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other related meetings
Must be systems oriented, enjoy working with new tools and be a self-motivated learner
Extended hours may be required to meet deadlines

Broad understanding of software development and project management concepts preferred. Project Management certification a plus. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a project management capacity. Experience with operational aspects of Information Technology preferredSkills and AbilitiesComputer Skills: Experience with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Other Requirements: PMI's Project Management Professional, SCRUM Certification or other relevant certification preferred
