They are hiring a Buyer Specialist to assist in sourcing projects for service contractors.The Buyer Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiations, invoicing, and data surrounding the company's purchase orders. Their focus will support overall company initiatives including the most favorable pricing and terms. Track PO's and ensure accuracy before sending out.Monitor sourcing strategies and contract compliance and participate in the resolution of any constraints or issues.Analyze findings, compile metrics, collect quotes, and report ad hoc as needed.Coordinate partnerships with suppliers and other value-added activities to support company needs and expectations. Proactively seek and lead innovative ways to ensure the most favorable prices, discounts, bids, and terms.Keep accurate data sets and organized tracking within company software.REQUIREMENTS:3+ years of experience in cost/benefit analysis and invoicing functions.Consultative background is beneficial. Must be able to consult on projects, contractor pricing structures, payment plan sourcing, and deliver solutions.Must have experience with Maximo inventory system.Understanding of service-related contracts and contractor services for a wide array of functions.Proven ability to manage issues by finding solutions and communicating changes effectively.Strong communication skills and ability to develop creative solutions to business challenges.
