Job Description

  • Develop and manage Level 1-4 schedules depending on project node.
  • Manage the overall program schedule, and ensure compliance with IDM Engineering Scheduling Standards and follow industry best practices.
  • Actively Participate in routine progress meetings to ensure authorized work is progressing to schedule and perform analyses to maintain or improve the schedule, and identify problem areas to allow recovery and resolution.
  • Create and maintain an integrated project schedule for each line for implementation at CM and equipment builders
  • Input resources into the schedule according to the roles. Resource loading. Flag resource overload and critical path.
  • Input effort into the schedule based on the estimate.
  • Creation of Project Metrics based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) defined by the Project Team.
  • Input WBS into the schedule based on estimate and detail tasks as required
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates and status (4 week look ahead) reports for project management team and integrated schedule at the program level.
  • Establish key performance metrics, and collect and report on these
  • Support monthly IDM project progress reports

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience with manufacturing schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Proven ability to integrate multiple sub-schedules into one overall master schedule.
  • Ability to create and maintain Level 1-4 schedule details.
  • Ability to interface with resources within project supplier organizations in order to update schedules.
  • Knowledge of project management planning and organization.
  • Good understanding and experience with project management capital delivery processes for projects. These attributes include an overall basic understanding of contracts and contracting, procurement, planning & scheduling, progress measurement, schedule change order management, risk management within the Pharma / bio tech industries.
  • In-depth working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to integrate Excel and P6 schedules to create metrics.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks within a timeframe.
  • Analytical approach to address process flow, issues, tasks.
  • Significant experience and strong problem solving skills in project & program management.

Experience Desired

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience with manufacturing medical devices or related industries.
  • Knowledge and previous experience working with Life Sciences companies.
  • Experience in scheduling the implementation of custom equipment and molding operations projects.
