Length of contract2 years, with possibility of extension. (contract renegotiated every 2 years)
Responsibilities
Network / Systems Administrator
(Background in Desktop Support Needed)
Provide hands-on support services (Primarily: Monday - Friday between 8AM - 5PM local time with possible on-call coverage).
Responsible for IT related ordering/shipping/receiving at the site and will act as IT liaison for the site.
Secondary break/fix support for workstations/servers. Existing desktop support model may provide primary support of base hardware and image while site support may be used for smart hands & eyes.
Maintain local servers and storage, including backups. Assurance that local servers are running on the support release.
LAN Network (not supported by central IT): Active Directory and Domain administration and IP addresses / computer names for these networks.
Printer support resolve jams, basic printer issues that must to be done on-site (under central technical direction).
Conference room support including supply network hub, cables, power cords, assist with projector, speaker phones etc.
Vendor Management - Hold hardware vendors accountable for resolving an issue. Obtain the ticket number and complete calls to ensure problem is addressed and finally resolved.
The resource should also understand LAN network administration, PC operating systems (Windows, browsers, etc.), servers and storage including backup software / hardware.
