Sterling Group is growing and is looking for a Real Estate Transaction Specialist to join its dynamic group of corporate colleagues at its corporate office located on Edison Lakes Parkway in Mishawaka, Indiana.

This Real Estate Transaction Specialist will assist the Director of Real Estate with new development financings, acquisition financings, refinancing of assets, disposition of assets, asset management, and investor relations.

Main responsibilities of the position include:

Coordinating the submission of Pre-application and Firm Application applications for financing of new development, market rate assets,

Coordinating closings for all projects including market rate, affordable and self-storage facilities (both new development and acquisition closings),

Preparing quarterly reports for distribution to our investors, and

Promoting an environment of professionalism and integrity.

The ideal candidate for a Real Estate Transaction Specialist with our company has an Associates degree; 2 or more years of experience in the financial field; excellent verbal and written communications skills; effective time management skills; and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (and, in particular, strong word processing capabilities and high familiarity working with spreadsheets). CCIM designation a plus!
