Grain and vegetable farm in the LaPorte, IN area seeking full or part time employees for the 2019 growing season. Applicants must be willing to work in a farm environment. Duties will include, but not limited to, tractor operation, semi and pickup truck and trailer operating, basic maintenance duties, farm site maintenance, various field activities, and anything else required to produce the crop. Applicants must have a clean driving record. A CDL is preferred but not required. Applicants must be willing to pass a CDL physical if they do not currently have one. The position will require seasonal weekend attendance. Farm experience is not required, but the willingness to learn is. Applicants with heavy machinery experience and/or trucking experience are preferred but not required.
