Medical Diagnostic Services, Inc based out of Skokie, IL is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to work in their Fort Wayne and Indianapolis area routes.
Job Summary:
Perform mobile X-rays and EKG's on patients at nursing homes and other health care facilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
1) Must possess Radiographer skills in positioning, technique, film critique, and understanding in protocols in relationship to portable Digital and/or Computed Radiography.
2) Must have basic computer skills in Digital and/or Computed Radiography.
3) Must have good communication skills when interacting with patients and staff of client facilities.
Responsibilities:
1) Demonstrate regular attendance.
2) Will have to load/unload portable X-ray equipment to take into healthcare facilities to perform diagnostic procedures.
3) Maintain proper paperwork in regards to procedures performed and turn it in at expected time.
4) Maintain dosimeter/film badge and download its readings at the correct scheduled time.
Education:
1) ARRT or ARRT eligible and State Certification required.
2) Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program
