Community Health Summer Non-Clinical Intern

This position will have the opportunity to play an active role in the community health collaborative groups that address strategies and tactics to improve LaGrange County’s top three health priorities, which are 1) mental health/substance use/suicide, 2) obesity, 3) child abuse & neglect. There will be an opportunity to conduct research and engage with community partners to accomplish the implementation goals of the collaborative groups. The student will be given the opportunity to spend time job shadowing within Parkview Health to further explore their career choice in healthcare. The student will have the opportunity to work on projects that will make a difference in the community we serve.
