We are looking for a grill master to join our team and to provide quality customer service and knowledge on all of our grill and hearth products. This position would also provide public demonstrations and work First Fridays. This position would guide customers to products that fit their needs. It is responsible for ordering, being knowledgeable on hearth products within the showroom, organizing stock, and maintaining a good rapport with customers.
Tasks:
Provide excellent customer service by greetings guests and assisting them.
Knowledgeable on products within show room for grills and hearth products
Process payments within point of sale system & cash register
Learn grilling and smoking techniques to explain to guests how products work
Answer questions on products and order as necessary for guests
Order products and replacement parts as well as organize stock in warehouse
Receive product and drive forklift store in warehouse
Rotates stock, clean and stock display, price merchandise as directed
Ability to problem solve
Research and order replacement parts
Qualifications & Requirements:
1-2 years retail experience
Knowledge of hearth and fireplace products is a bonus
Organized & and friendly personality with excellent verbal skills
Familiar with Google drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, Gmail
Valid Drivers License
Drive forklift
Physical Ability to lift 50 lbs
Stand for long periods of time
Answer phones, accept sales calls, and accept payments or direct to correct personnel.

March - August: Monday Friday 8:45 5:15
September February: Monday Friday 8:45 5:15 & some Saturdays 8:45 1:15 pm
Wabash Downtown First Fridays
Salary: $11-14 /hour (based on experience)
