This position, for an Operations Analyst, will be responsible for:
Plan and execute the migration of code migrations to our validated production environments. (70% of time)
Execute environment management duties in support of day-to-day operations, projects, and system support (20% time)
Develop and maintain technical documentation for validated environment code migrations and environment support. (5% of time)
Provide weekend and off-hour support for validated environment code migrations and environment support. (5% of time)
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent in experience
ITIL Foundations Certification or equivalent in experience
Experience:Minimum Required:
Understanding of IT Networking and Infrastructure
Understanding of Project Management Lifecycle
Additional Skills:
An understanding of ITIL concepts
Ability to act as an assistant Project Manager and drive code management to delivery, on a global basis
Some functional experience
Experience in software and development tools used by Covance
Ability to enhance/develop new processes/standards
Ability to multi task and prioritize their own work and assignments based on business need
Able to work independently and in small to medium size teams
Ability to communicate to effectively with multiple areas in IT and the business and provide recommendations for technical solutions
