This position reports directly to the Regional Manager, Fulfillment Operations and will include working collaboratively with operations, account management, sales, human resources, engineering as well as managing warehouse personnel. A successful candidate must have proven experience in all aspects of logistics, warehouse/inventory management, fulfillment distribution and transportation.You will:

Implement and execute world-class service levels. Responsible for 99.9% order and inventory accuracy rates. Manage multi-client SLA’s per contract terms.

Direct a high performing team with a “customers come first” mentality. Select and develop direct reports through coaching, performance management, talent management, and succession planning.

Collaborate with senior business leaders to establish facility plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver service and financial results.

Monitor and audit the P&L at the facility level for the fulfillment site to drive profitability and ensure operations is monitoring variable and fixed costs to achieve financial metrics

Develop optimum inventory locations and order picking strategies with automation to optimize work flow utilization and labor productivity

Ensure all warehouse operations are in compliance with OSHA and local regulatory requirements. Implement and manage safety training programs and practices.

Deploy continuous improvement efforts in the distribution facility to drive productivity, reduce operating costs, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with account management to provide seamless quality customer service

Establish work schedules and ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented providing full coverage to ensure customer service level agreements are met without exception. Leverage LMS application and reporting functionality

Client engagement with prospective clients and existing clients at the COM to ensure continued growth within Pitney Bowes Parcel and Fulfillment Services

Oversee and assist with all new client onboarding from an operational perspective to ensure launches are successful, reporting any issues internally for prompt resolution

Your background:As a Facility Manager, you have:

The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations

The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation

7 plus years of senior leadership experience in an operations and/or manufacturing environment

Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving skills

Must be a team player with a strong work ethic, as well as excellent people and organizational skills

Working knowledge in MS suite

Superior professionalism and judgement

Strong financial acumen

Great team player and able to adapt to work in a multi-cultural environment

Must be open to a flexible schedule as required during peak and non peak periods (including weekends)

The ability to travel up to 10% nationally to PB facilities and vendors as needed

Preferred:

Prior experience with AutoStore and/or fulfillment automation is a plus

Lean manufacturing and/or 6 sigma certification preferred

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations or related field preferred

Knowledge in WMS systems, WCS and LMS an asset
