We are a small-to-medium size residential landlord with about 240 units in Evansville. We offer a variety of properties at competitive prices. Most of the work we do involves getting properties ready for rent between tenants. We also do extensive remodeling of our properties, especially after purchase. Services we perform include, but are not limited to, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC maintenance and repair, appliance repair, roof repair, installation of laminate, vinyl, and carpet flooring, installation of windows and doors, minor framing, drywall repair and installation, painting, minor foundation repair, siding, and limited concrete repair.

We maintain an independent contractual relationship with our maintenance personnel. Our personnel provide their own personal tools and, within guidelines, set their own hours, so long as they work roughly forty hours per week during daylight hours on the jobs that are posted or assigned. The personnel coordinate amongst themselves and with the company on which projects to work on and how to get them done. Normally, we have four or five other maintenance personnel as part of the team. Most of the time, you will work on your own and, occasionally, with others. Oversight from the company is very limited, so honest, dependable, and knowledgeable persons are required, along with the ability to work well with others.

We pay based on your value. If you know a lot and do your job well, we pay well. Starting pay for this position is $17.50+/hour. Ten days paid vacation and ten paid holidays vest after six months. We do not have a lot of after-hours calls and we hate the idea of the guys working weekends. We can't promise it will never happen, but it is definitely not policy. We have about one after-hours call a month and that is done on a loose rotating basis.

What we need is someone who can do property maintenance and renovation - carpentry, drywall, carpet, laminate, plumbing, hvac, window replacement, siding, electrical, and painting. If you can do it all, great. If you can do a lot, that's fine too. So, if you have skills and you want a good job with a great group of guys and gals, please contact us.
