I am looking for a Leasing Specialist to work between two communities in Jasper Indiana.
The Leasing Specialist is responsible for the general marketing of the property and all related functions, as well as being responsible
for the leasing activity on the property. Represents the company in its relations with residents, employees, and local vendors and
reflect the attitudes, policies and general personality of the company.
POSITION DUTIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales
Show Market Ready apartments and community as needed to customers.
Written and/or verbal follow-up with every customer.
Prepare Application and Lease documents as required for new residents.
Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
Renewals
Walk vacant Market Ready apartments on a daily basis; show path, clubhouse, amenities.
Marketing
Assist the manager in the directing and overseeing the property marketing promotions.
Responsible for generating new business contacts, marketing ideas, competitive shops, inside and outside sales effort to
increase occupancy.
Promote resident retention programs and adhere to the Resident Retention Policy
Distribute flyers and letters to residents if necessary.
Attend on and off-site industry specific meetings as required by supervisor.
Reporting
Update vacancy list, make ready and leasing progress on a daily basis and insure all names are correct.
Assist in preparing market surveys and shopping other complexes.
Record all resident correspondence and submit to manager for review.
Maintain a corporate out reach file.
Maintain future resident files.
Enter prospect rent and service requests into property computer program.
Compliance
Adhere to all company policies.
Be familiar with all fair housing laws.
ATTENDANCE:
Regular attendance is required and may include weekend hours. Work beyond 40 hours per work week may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least one (1) year of experience in the real estate, retail or customer service industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization
