IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE

Book Keeper / Personal Assistant / House Keeper

I am a recently divorced businessman running a successful small real estate investment company from my clean home in a quiet safe neighborhood on the far-east side on Monroe county. To be successful requires that an enormous amount of work get done, done well, and in a timely fashion.

The continued success of this business requires that I have a Personal Assistant/Book Keeper/Housekeeper who is as committed to the success of this company as I am.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Getting the mail from a PO Box at least once a week.

-Tracking all monthly bills and getting them paid ON TIME.

-Data entry and tracking of multiple checking accounts.

-Preparation quarterly tax payments and other tax prep work.

-Preparation of annual business entity reports, etc.

-Tracking mowing vendors for properties, processing their invoices for payment.

-Maintaining organized filing, calendars, schedules, tracking, computer files, etc

In addition to this clerical work other duties would include, but are not limited to:

-Maintaining/housekeeping of the home/office on a daily/weekly basis (this work includes laundry, dishes, toilets, cat boxes, etc).

-Occasional mowing of the property.

-Errand running for office supplies, groceries, etc

A weekly 1-2hr meeting to review progress, status, etc is also required.

BENEFITS:

Pay starts at $12 per hour.

Pay increases to $15 per hour after 90 successful days of work.

Roughly 15-20 hours per week.

(6-9hrs clerical; 4-6hrs house keeping; 3-5hrs errands/misc)

MORE HOURS AND DUTIES WILL LIKELY BECOME AVAILABLE AS ABILITY AND DESIRE IS PROVEN.

Hours and days are somewhat flexible.

QUALIFICATIONS

-MUST have Book Keeping experience.

-MUST be able to operate a computer and particularly MS Excel and Word.

-MUST be able honest, trustworthy, reliable, and able to work unsupervised with outstanding work ethics.

-MUST be extremely detail oriented and well organized.

-MUST have a reliable phone and be available by phone at all times.

-MUST have critical thinking skills.

-MUST have reliable transportation.

-MUST be physically able to do the non-clerical work.

-MUST be able to say confidently I dont know and be willing to learn.

-MUST have a happy demeanor and good sense of humor.

-MUST have references (either personal, business, or both).

Quick Books experience is helpful but not required.
