Job Description
- Sweep around dump truck daily, and keep it dumped as needs require.
- Pick up shells, bottles, etc. between rows and around warehouse daily.
- Sweep between rows and around warehouse daily.
- Sweep two parking lots and pick up trash along fence weekly. Anything found that does not belong there, is to be PROPERLY disposed of weekly.
- Scrub one parking lot, from East door to fuel island.
- Scrub loading area daily.
- Scrub North/ South aisles during Production Line lunch periods, then all other aisles. Also, repeat loading area if need, daily.
- Sweep outer dock pits daily.
- Pick up foreign matter and sweep around outer plant walls weekly.
- Hose out dump truck bed weekly.
- At the end of every shift, check rows and entire plant for broken glass, shells, bottles etc.
- Clean S/R office (per checklist provided daily),
- Clean out dock drains and under dock levelers on a scheduled basis.
- When weather prevents performing any of the assigned outside duties, they will be performed on the first following day that weather allows.
- It is the S/R Janitor's responsibility to inform his supervisor anytime he is unable to fulfill any of the assigned duties and the reason for not getting them done.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- High paced work ethic
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Live close to the Marion, IL area
