As a sales and operations financial analyst you will partner with sales, accounting, operations, information technology, and other departments in determining costs and guide costing analysis, coordinate on processes driving balance sheet and income statement activity, and generate regular reporting for the sales and leadership team. Also, performs various accounting and administrative functions as well as management reporting. Sales and Operations Analyst Responsibilities: ·Review historical financial results, revenue and cost data, trends and forecasts. oPrepare reports and projections based upon this analysis. ·Facilitate the annual revenue / booking forecasts using our outside reps, inside sales team and sales leaders as resources. ·Lead customer profitability analysis and improvement efforts. ·Evaluate incoming sales opportunities. ·Establish the departmental budgeted volumes and costs to generate costing rates ·Develop the Plant Cost Center Report monthly which analyzes the variances of actual to budget. ·Manage pricing guidance for the Sales teams. ·Evaluate capital expenditure plans and internal rates of return. oAnalyze investment opportunities oCreate financial models ·Manage our government cost audits when they occur. ·Perform data mining and analysis and work cross functionally to provide insights for S&OP process. ·Support sales with KPI reporting, account segmentation, and other reporting inquiries. ·Collect and analyze data, developing decision support tools/reporting, and delivering recommendations. ·Partner with Sales and Finance to validate monthly business metrics. ·Develops and trains on new reporting tools / new KPI measures / changes to the PES system. ·Specifically for the bar behavioral segment of our business, manage the pricing, provide trends and historical results, and recommend actions to take. oProvide recommendations to improve competitiveness and profitability Sales and Operations Analyst Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance ·Minimum of (4) years public accounting or private industry experience ·Costing background a plus ·Self-motivated with strong work ethic ·Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ·Experience with JD Edwards Software a plus ·Ability to evaluate business performance, develop learnings, communicate findings ·Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills; professional outgoing personality. ·Is adaptable, a quick learner and takes it upon themselves to find answers ·High-level thinker who wants to directly impact a company’s success Additional Requirements: ·Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship.
