Restaurant Team Member (Sandwich Artists)
As a Sandwich Artist (or Team Member) your role is critical to our business. You will be the face of the
business, so you should be a servant leader and a people pleaser as well as reliable. The ideal
candidates should have a desire to grow and move up in our company. We are looking for friendly
candidates that are available to work on any day from Sunday through Saturday. This is a full-time or part-time position to primarily serve our lunch & dinner guests.
Responsibilities
Provide incredible customer SERVICE, greeting guests and answering questions in a friendly
manner, proactively offering assistance and making product / service recommendations and
accommodating special requests. You should be able to take direction and complete tasks with a
sense of urgency.
The Sandwich Artist® performs a variety of duties relating to Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) - A
Sandwich Artist® greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation
standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major
component of this position.
-Cross trained in all front of the house & back of the house duties.
-Prepares food neatly and accurately using quick hand motions. Attention to detail is necessary.
-Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it to guests accurately.
-Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when accommodating guests.
-Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and computes the amount of the bill,
collects payment from guests and makes change. Accounts for all forms of money, bread, etc.
during the shift.
-Understands and adheres to all quality standards and formulas. Cleans as directed.
-Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while
preparing food, serving food, and clean up.
-Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards.
-Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
-Completes online coursework on the University of SUBWAY® as directed
Qualifications & Skills
You must be at least 16 years old for this position.
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Ideal candidates will have at least 1-year of Experience in QSR or Fast Casual restaurant
environment.
