We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our transportation team! You will perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN TRANPORATION.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for all facets related to employee relations and culture - from the beginning of the talent acquisition process to employee onboarding and through the employee's tenure with our company. This person will support the administrative functions of the Human Resource department, while being a resource for our employees if they have questions regarding policies, procedures, paperwork, forms, etc.
Responsibilities:
Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
On-board and train new employees
Monitor, post, create content specific to our social media sites that are specific to our company and its entities that would be relevant and interesting to all of our employees, relative to the Crew page and image building as a place to work
Qualifications:
At least 1 years of relevant experience in Transportation
Must have a knack for creating fun, eye-catching ads, posters, employee engagement posters, etc.
Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and Publisher.
Recruit potential CDL A Drivers and conduct interviews
New hire orientation
Maintain driver files.
Executive reporting skills to track progress and results
Able to travel for site visits.
Increase retention
Must be highly motivated and capable of multi-tasking
