Casting REAL Stadium Hotdog Vendors ASAP For A Good Cause! (Chicago/Geneva)

Illinois, Chicago 00000 Chicago USA

Vacancy caducado!

Seeking REAL stadium seat hotdog vendors (past or present) in the Chicago area for Frank It Forward.

Are you a REAL stadium seat hotdog vendor or have you ever been one? We want to hear from you ASAP but no later the 7/5! No Acting Experience Necessary (but great if you are an actor too). There will be two formats produced. The pay rates range from $250 - $1000 depending on how you are hired. This is a SAG project but you do not need to be a SAG member to qualify!

The Frank It Forward is a Ball Park Franks project that encourages hot dog fans to 'purchase' a pack of Ball Park Franks to help support out of work stadium seat hotdog vendors due to the Covid 19 pandemic. All donations made during the program will go directly to out of work hot dog vendors!

If you'd like to be considered for this project you can self tape your audition and email it to us as directed below OR you can email us with questions and we'll help you through the process! If you can't self tape, we have casting folks standing by to assist you!

SELF TAPE VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS: Use a smart phone or any video camera. If possible, have someone hold the camera or phone for you. If not, try to prop up the phone/camera so you can be hands free - if all else fails, it's fine to hold the phone yourself to self tape. The lighting should be in front of you - in other words you should be looking toward the light, it shouldn't be behind you. Hold the smart phone in the landscape position (not upright/portrait). Make sure fingers/hands are not covering the microphone. For wardrobe, you should wear a collared shirt or whatever you would actually wear to sell hotdogs at a stadium. Add flare to your wardrobe if you want (such as a crazy hot dog hat, etc).

Frame yourself from waist up or chest up, to just above the top of your head.

1. Begin recording, state your full name and tell us you live in or around the Chicago area (ie you are a local hire in Chicago).

2. Give us a bit of your background as a Stadium Hotdog Vendor (ie where you were a stadium vendor, how long you did it or if you are a current vendor, etc).

3. Pretend you are in the stadium selling dogs - so look around and shout out to your crowd. (ie, "Get your hot dogs, here!" - whatever you would actually call out to sell dogs.).

4. Lastly, if you are comfortable doing so, read the below script into camera. You don't need to be an actor to try the script! It’s not necessary to try the script to be considered but we'd love to hear everyone who is a real stadium vendor try it!

VENDOR SCRIPT (Speak into camera. It's fine to paraphrase this! Make it your own.):

"Hot Dooooog!

With stadiums closed to fans, Ball Park Brand

hired me to sell hot dogs on here. Every penny

will go to out-of-work vendors like myself. So

swipe to get some franks for a great cause.

Frank It Forward! Help the vendors heeeeere!"

5. Once you are done filming, label your video with your first and last name and email it to us as an attachment of via We Transfer. Write Vendor in the subject line, include your contact information or agent's info in the body of the email and send your audition to us ASAP but no later than 7/5.
