WOW Field Collections and Disconnect Tech
We are currently seeking a Non Pay Disconnect Technician in the Chicago and surrounding areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The field collections disconnect technician is responsible for ensuring all issued non pay disconnects are completed before the age of the job reaches 70 days. We are issued non pay disconnects at day 56, our non pay technicians work the job initially, attempting to "save" the subscriber for WOW by collecting at least the past due balance on the account. If the subscriber is unwilling to make their payment for whatever reason, then our non pay technician will pick up the WOW equipment on the account and complete the disconnect at the tap.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contact Subscribers: The ability to contact at the service address and deal with WOW subscribers in an appropriate manner. A calm, confident demeanor is important. De-escalating subscriber interactions when necessary and keeping them focused on the purpose of your visit.
2. Completing Disconnects to Spec: Once a job has been resolved, or is close to the expiration date it must be physically disconnected. Attention to detail, and taking pride in your work is vital to consistently performing disconnects to spec.
Disconnects are Qc'd both internally and by WOW, we expect 100% pass on all our submissions, failure of a QC is subject to a back charge, with consistent failures resulting in termination.
3. Reporting: Everything we do in the field is subject to a web based reporting process. Reporting is required to be accurate and done in real time.

Must be willing to work after sundown depending on the time of year. Work hours are somewhat flexible, but primarily include 2PM-9PM 4 days a week, and 1 Weekend shift per week.
Possess a valid driver's license Have a good driver record
Be an effective communicator Outstanding people skills
Great time management skills Be self-motivated and have a competitive mindset
Possess intermediate computer skills Be comfortable working with web based tools in the field.
Be able to physically handle a 60lb ladder.
Have a reliable vehicle capable of racking a ladder
