Job Description

The Radiographer-Interventional reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Provides imaging services to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of inpatients and or outpatients. Performs radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and or therapeutic interventional by or at the request of a license practitioner. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient's conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures. Services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols, and hospital policies and procedures. Performs interventional imaging procedures.

Qualifications

Required: Current Illinois licensed - Current ARRT registry in radiography - Current AHA BLS Provider Certification - Graduation from an accredited radiography program with 1 year Interventional Imaging experience. Desired: - Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology. - Graduation from an accredited radiography program Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree - 3 or more years Interventional Imaging experience.
