Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People Customers TrustWe are seeking applicants for General Labor (6 Openings) working on theswing shiftin our Nampa, Idaho facility.Serving customers in Idaho, PCA Nampa takespride in offeringoutstanding customer service.We are a full-service supplierof corrugated shippingcontainers and value-added solutions. Our customers relyon us for packagetesting, structural design solutions, just-in-time (JIT)deliveries and rush orders.RESPONSIBILITIES:Stacking bundles repetitively, setting upmachinery, clearing outjam-ups, and keeping track of unit count and orderentry into thedata-collection system.Assume active role inoverall plant and facilities-related work,which includes: tagging loads, clean-up, and removing bad stock.Measure pallets and sheet size using a tape measure and performday-to-day housekeeping.Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal ofincreasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.Stand and perform repetitive movements for most of the work day.Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.Other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High School Graduate or GED and be 18 years of ageor older.Ability and desire to learn new skills and cross-train.Current verifiable work history/references and an excellent recordof attendance with previous employers.Ability to move, place, and transport up to 30lbs repetitively.Ability to work any of the three assigned shifts as needed,including weekends and short notice overtime.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.Must have a good attendance record.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.Possess an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis withother productionpersonnel.Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requestssimultaneously.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
