Adecco is currently assisting a local commercial construction customer in Lewiston, ME with hiring a Civil Superintendent . Pay will be $1500 to $1600 per week. Candidates will be responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments, making office supplies arrangements, greeting visitors, and providing general administrative support to our employees. A Civil Superintendent will manage all on site construction-related duties with regards to construction, safety, budget, and schedule and will be a vital working member of our construction team. Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Responsible for maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, billing.
Responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments.
Organizes and maintains office operations and procedures.
Ensures that all invoiced items are paid on time.
Performs billable and payables job costing consulting with a CPA.
Coordinates with bonding company.
Manages office G&A budget, ensures accurate and timely reporting.
Assists in the on-boarding processes of new hires.
Address employee queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements.)
Acts as a liaison with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services.
Plans in house or off-site activities like parties, celebration and conferences.
Mange's contracts and price negation with office vendors, service provide and office lease.
Forecasting and communicating required equipment, labor and material resources.
Attending project meetings with subcontractors and owner.
Coordination of site activities with subcontractors.
Internal reporting of payroll, productions and equipment usage.
Supervision and direction of craft labor.
Overseeing all aspects of project execution for site work.
Individuals must also direct crews and maintain a positive working relationship with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners. Individuals must be willing to travel to project sites in Maine. Salaries are very competitive and based upon skill and experience. This position will receive a stipend and company truck for travel related expenses.
