Job Summary: Cardiac SSU provides an exciting opportunity to work
with world leading cardiac specialists in an innovative and
groundbreaking program. Our Heart Center features a 20-bed state of the
art design to create a family centered friendly atmosphere. This unit
provides a holistic approach, which encompasses care that starts with
the pre-operative phase, and includes the immediate post-operative
recovery through to discharge. Patient population includes: open heart
and thoracic surgeries, post cardiac intervention, and acute cardiac
care management.The Central Maine Medical Family, (CMMF) is an integrated healthcare
delivery system serving some 400,000 people living in central, western

reimbursement. An experienced candidate is strongly preferred.Requirements: Current state Maine Registered Nurse Licensure. Two
or more years of recent critical care experience, preferred. Successful
completion of critical care course and 12 lead interpretation class
within one year of hire, basic arrhythimia class within 6 months of
hire.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS and
ALS required.Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Certification in Critical
Care (CCRN) desired within 2 years of hire.Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Proficient in interpreting ECG.
