Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been retained to conduct a high priority search for a CPA for our client, an established CPA tax firm in Grangeville, ID. OVERVIEW

Our client is a longstanding CPA firm in the Idaho County area, the firm has a second office that is growing quickly and they are in need of a new team member! The person in this role will maintain relationships with a list of established clients as well as attracting new clients to the firm. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Preparing and processing all tax accounting for new and existing clients.

Building and maintaining relationships.

Preparing moderate to complex tax returns.

Meeting with clients quarterly.

Acquiring new clients through effective outreach.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

3+ years of tax processing experience.

A degree in accounting.

Completed CPA certification or in the process of completion with sufficient experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience with QuickBooks.

Expertise in preparing individual, corporate, and trust tax returns.

Tax planning and research experience.

Exceptional verbal and written communication.

Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Acute attention to detail.

Excellent client/customer service.

Familiarity with Lacerte.

COMPENSATION

Compensation is competitive with a base salary of $50,000-$65,000 and attractive bonus structure depending on experience; a 100% paid health plan, an IRA retirement package, opportunities to win vacations.
