Seeking dependable, top quality person to fulfill our Microfilm Processing Lab Technician opening. If you are familiar with and have proven experience in dark room, photography, archive writing and other lab duties and are looking for a new challenge, this is your opportunity!
This is a production job; we are looking for the right person to process and duplicate film/fiche at the maximum level of quality for our customers. Lab technicians are required to know and perform each of the following duties fully and be able to change functions at any time without notice: film processing, duplication, and inspection.
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
This Temporary position will become Permanent after successful completion of trial period. The Lab Technician will be required to perform at certain standards of quality and quantity for each job, which will be determined and monitored by the manager.
Requirements:
Dependable – can be counted on to be here ON TIME and for scheduled shift – GREAT ATTENDANCE A MUST!
Responsible & impeccable work ethic
Safety minded
Ability to work with potentially strong-smelling chemicals
Good math skills to calculate mixes and formulas
Ability to log and track projects/rolls/work that will provide data for productivity and profitability
Ability to report on a daily basis the condition of the lab and notify when supplies are needed
Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
Must be able to take direction & follow processes and be a great team player
Intermediate computer skills
Must pass a full background check
