Smart Move Property Management is seeking the right team member to complement our small property firm. The position is Monday through Friday, roughly 9-5.Â

Our business exists to give our clients peace of mind regarding their investment properties. We do that by reducing our clients risk and burden in numerous ways. We also are fortunate to provide quality housing in our community.

Our culture is fun, hardworking, fast paced, and forward thinking. We use a lot of video, technology and social media.

This position requires an articulate, hard-working candidate with a fun personality. Applicant must have a strong capacity to handle varying work tasks always with a proactive, driven, and energetic approach. We desire someone who is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, organized and efficient, willing to exceed expectations at any level of task, and driven to develop a strong working relationship with our clients. Most important, you need the ability to remain kind and calm, always.

We are looking for someone that wants a career and longevity.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

Leasing “ communicating with potential applicants, screening applications, showing homes, conducting move in inspections, marketing properties, creating leases, posting and removing yard signs/lock boxes, taking marketing photos, filming video tours. Tenant/Client Relations “ creating and following up on work orders, maintenance coordination, collecting and posting rent, conducting move out inspections, delivering notices, responding to tenant issues. Owner reports, seeking owner repair approvals, owner communications. Office Support “ overseeing day to day operations, such as greeting people in the office, taking calls, replying to email inquiries, coordinating with vendors and utility companies, running errands, data entry, A/P and A/R.

Have an enthusiastic, upbeat and positive personality

Absolutely amazing customer service skills. Yes, amazing is what we seek Have at least one year of experience in customer service, leasing or property management Have excellent computer skills, technologically savvy and be proficient in Microsoft Office Have great phone skills Have bookkeeping experience (encouraged, but not required) Be comfortable with simple financial calculations, such as prorating rent Display a professional demeanor with pleasant, business-appropriate phone manners Exude effective problem-solving skills to resolve routine client questions Ensure all files remain organized and current with firm and industry rules and regulations Must be obsessive about the details, extremely organized Visually identify lease violations or concerns at a residence Meet deadlines and manage time efficiently Demonstrate excellent work ethic Ability to maintain high level of client confidentiality Be willing and excited to grow through continuing industry education

Be able to quickly learn programs and apps Be a great communicator with no patience for typos or poor grammar Have the ability to think critically Be able to work independently and productively Pass a background check prior to employment Have a smart phone, valid drivers license and car (mileage reimbursement paid)
