We have recently acquired operation of a 100 bed assisted living in the heart of Boise. We are looking to add a great nurse leader to our Health and Wellness care team.

Job Description

Looking for licensed nurse (RN or LPN) to show off their leadership talents while maintaining excellent relationships and providing great care for our residents. As the Director of Health and Wellness they would be responsible for overall operation of the wellness department. This includes leadership, training, and oversight of 25 care staff employees.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our assisted living community care deparment

Hiring, training, and development of care staff

Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status on electronic care system

Oversight of med techs and delegation of nurse duties to unlicensed personnel

Other leadership duties as needed

Qualifications

Current RN or LPN

Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care

Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control

Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures

Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents

Additional information

Highly Competitive Pay, $65-70,000/year depending on experience and qualifications
