We provide emergency residential placement services for individuals with developmental disabilities whose community placement has been jeopardized or lost. The nature of this service often involves the need for short-term residential placement immediately available while participants work with a treatment team and other stakeholders to arrange for a longer term solution to the placement.
CCI assists with staffing and daily living needs throughout this process, and we are looking for individuals with experience working with this population. Experience alone isn't enough. We are in need of employees that can handle behaviors that range from verbal to physical aggression. We do work as a team to handle issues if they arise. With this being said, the home has gone months without individuals with these higher needs.
Within this position you may do any of the following activities: menu plan, grocery shop, cook meals together, household duties, schedule and attend appointments, play games, watch movies, and model appropriate behavior.
We have two full time positions available, with the pay of $11.50-$11.85/hour, with the opportunity to earn higher wages, bonuses and benefits. You must have a reliable vehicle with liability insurance, and must be able to pass a federal background check. We look forward to having you join our team.
