Looking for Passionate Sushi Chefs to join our Sushi Time Team!
Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing and serving various sushi dishes while giving excellent customer service
Provide a high level of attention to guest satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with customers
Responsible for food storage and handling, this includes preparing fish for the day
Creating high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation
Assists in prep work
Proper handling and use of a knife
Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station and shared work environment
Execute orders promptly and in accordance to standards set forth
Actively display knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including current promotions or specials
Complete opening and closing duties efficiently and safely, using the correct procedures
Complete all assigned daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties
Have a team player attitude

Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year kitchen preparation and/or line cooking, preferred
Minimum (1) year experience as a Sushi Chef, preferred
Must be able to follow recipes and plate specifications
Must be able to work full 5 days for salary with 2 days off which include morning, nights, weekends and some holidays
We're willing to take the time to train if applicant has no prior Sushi experience, but MUST be the right candidate!
Physical Requirements:
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50lbs
Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands
