Meraki Greek Street Food is hiring for the remainder of Summer and into Fall and beyond. We are looking for longterm employees who plan on staying beyond the summer. With school right around the corner, we work around school, parent, and other job schedules.

We are hiring for Team Members, Team Leads, and Cooks.
Team Member Role
Candidate should be passionate about high quality food and customer service. We need people who enjoy working with others, deliver a high level of customer service, and like being on their feet in a fast paced environment! Team Members spend most of their time greeting customers, sharing their recommendations, working as a Cashier, explaining menu options to customers, pouring beer and wine, and expediting food in a quick, friendly and professional manner. We need people who love talking to customers, are not shy, handle challenging customers well, and enjoy making connections with people. Every Team Member walks up to customers as they enter the restaurant, and starts talking to them (greets, recommends items, helps them with the menu). Team Members also do a lot of cleaning (dishes, bathrooms, sweep, mop, detail cleaning kitchen, always wiping down surfaces). Role is a very active, and super upbeat and friendly. Rate of pay for a Team Member is based on prior experience.
Team Lead Role
Team Lead candidates should have prior experience in Leadership Roles where they were successfully leading, directing, training, and coaching others in a food and/or retail environment. Team Leads are responsible for running a smooth, successful shift where customer satisfaction and employee morale is their primary focus.
Cook Role
Candidate must be able to take the heat in the kitchen and work with limited space! Our gyro machines emit A LOT of heat and our kitchen is very small. Minimum 1 year in high volume, high quality cooking/prepping/experience preferred (but will train the right candidate). Good prep and knife skills a plus. Most items made from scratch. Heavy lifting (50 - 60 LB), hot surfaces, cleaning, attention to food quality and customer satisfaction. Good hygiene and sanitation knowledge required.

Part Time & Full Time Positions available.
Parking is something you should anticipate as having to pay for and plan ahead to find a spot (metered parking or garage available). Many employees do find free parking, but have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to the restaurant.
The Greek word Meraki means to do something with love, soul and creativity, and to put the essence of yourself into your work.
