Somerset Pacific is currently accepting application for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. Must have at least 5 years experience working with high volumes of accounts receivable. Responsible for all of the accounts receivable functions for the Somerset Pacific portfolio. Backup for Accounts Payable.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Knowledge of Basic Bookkeeping Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Move Outs, and Month-End Closing Procedures.
Accounts Receivable Daily bank transactions, online tenant transactions, AR aging analysis for open balances, bank comparisons, post payments.
Assist with Collections as needed.
Accounts Payable Data entry, expense coding, check processing, AP aging analysis for payment selection; reconciles the petty cash and Home Depot accounts for transfers and payments.
Process refund checks for Move Outs
Assist Controller with preparation and coordination of the audit process and year-end closing.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Experienced in all phases of bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and accounting software
Strong data entry skills.
Intermediate Excel experience
